After meeting at the agreed location, we begin our 5-day tour from Marrakech to Fes, traveling through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’tichka Pass at 2260 m altitude. We will stop to admire the breathtaking landscapes and visit a traditional Argan oil cooperative. Continue to the historic Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1986, where you will have free time to explore the old village, renowned for films like Alexander, Gladiator, and Babel. In the afternoon, drive to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” and stop for photos at the Atlas Film Studios, the largest studio in Africa. Dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 2: Ouarzazate ⇢ Skoura ⇢ Roses Valley ⇢ Dades Valley

After breakfast, depart Ouarzazate for Boumalne Dades via Skoura. Stop to visit the 17th-century Kasbah of Amridil. Continue to the Roses Valley, where you can stretch your legs and enjoy scenic views. Travel along the road where nomad families live in caves, offering a chance to have mint tea with them. Lunch will be at a local restaurant before continuing to Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Dades Valley.

Day 3: Dades Valley ⇢ Todra Gorges ⇢ Tinejdad ⇢ Erfoud ⇢ Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, depart Dades Valley and drive toward Erg Chebbi via Tineghir. Stop to explore the Todra Gorges, known for their dramatic cliffs and panoramic views. Continue to Touroug for lunch before heading to the Merzouga desert. En route, pass Erfoud, the capital of fossils, and Rissani, then arrive at the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and overnight at the hotel near Merzouga.

Day 4: Merzouga ⇢ Khamlia ⇢ Nomad Families ⇢ Merzouga Desert Camp

Begin the day crossing diverse desert landscapes via the Paris-Dakar Rally Track, passing sandy rivers, Berber villages, nomads, dry lakes, and the Ouzina dunes. Stop at Khamlia, a unique Gnawa village, to enjoy traditional music. Lunch will feature Berber Pizza with tea and a complete rice salad. Arrive at Merzouga, where you will meet your camel guide for a trek across the dunes to the desert camp. Spend a memorable night under the starry sky, with Berber music around the campfire.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert ⇢ Ziz Valley ⇢ Midelt ⇢ Ifrane ⇢ Fes

Wake early to witness the stunning sunrise over the dunes. Ride camels back to meet your driver and depart for Fes via Erfoud and the Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views. Continue through Midelt and the Tizi N’talghamt pass for a lunch break. Travel through the Cedar forests and Middle Atlas Mountains, with a chance to see Barbary apes.
