Day 1: Casablanca (Arrival) – City Tour

Arrive at Casablanca Mohamed V Airport. Begin your exploration of Morocco’s largest city, visiting the Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest mosques, and the Coastal Seaside Corniche. Return to your hotel for overnight accommodation in Casablanca.

Depart Casablanca for Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Explore Hassan Tower and walk through the historic Udayas Kasbah. Continue your journey toward Chefchaouen, traveling through scenic farmlands where olives, grains, vegetables, and grapes are cultivated. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Spend a full day exploring Chefchaouen, famous for its steep, narrow streets and white-and-indigo limewashed buildings. Visit Place Uta el-Hamman, the central square, near the Grand Mosque. Depart Merzouga for Rissani, visiting its bustling souk and donkey park. Continue to Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest in Morocco. After lunch, drive through Dades Valley with its striking rock formations. Arrive in Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” surrounded by dramatic landscapes. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Depart Ouarzazate for Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to the 11th century. Depart Taroudant for Essaouira, stopping at Agadir for lunch and a stroll along the promenade. Travel along the Atlantic coast, observing Argan trees where goats climb in search of food. Arrive in Essaouira, with time to explore the Medina and enjoy overnight accommodation in a riad.

Explore Essaouira, “City of the Wind,” including the Skala Fortress and Thuya wood carvings. Wander the Medina’s alleys, and enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch with freshly caught fish.
